Grown mainly for their colourful foliage, they like a shady site with moisture. Protect from slugs and snails. Winter dormancy. Ideal for the south side of the house en masse. Good sturdy plants grown in a 9 cm square pot. Look in About Us for a photo of a plant ready for sale.

ABBA DABBA DO
Leaves are dark green in the centre with a thin edging of gold. A large growing hosta showing some pest resistance. Lavender flowers. Height 45cm.

ABIQUA DRINKING GOURD
A tall hosta with large cupped shaped blue green leaves. Very attractive. Pest resistant. Height 45cm.

ALAN P. MCCONNEL
A small Hosta which has green leaves with a narrow white margin which varies in width. Flowers are purple. Height 20cm.

ALBO PICTA
Bright yellow leaves with a dark green margin slowly changing to all green by mid summer. Has a beautiful soft appearance when first out. Height 35cm.

AUGUST MOON
Beautiful golden yellow leaves with mauve flowers in summer. Height 35cm.

AUREO MACULATA
The foliage is very distinctive with the central variegations in gold and green. By mid summer the leaves are a uniform green. Violet flowers on tall stems in summer. Height 35cm.

BIG DADDY
Large deep blue puckered leaves, good strong grower. White flowers. Height 45cm.

BLUE ANGEL
Large blue grey heart shaped leaves with thick texture. Pale mauve to white flowers. Very impressive. Height 45cm.

BLUE BOY
Compact very blue foliage with mauve flowers in summer. Height 20cm.

BLUE CADET
Small hosta with thick puckered round leaves with a pointed tip. Intense glaucous blue. Purple flowers. Height 25cm.

BLUE MOUSE EARS
Lovely small growing hosta with thick grey blue foliage. The rounded shape of the leaves resemble mouse ears. Flowers are lavender and height is 18cm.

BLUE UMBRELLAS
Large strong growing bluish green hosta with large downwardly cupped leaves, which give the appearance of umbrellas. Lavender flowers. Pest resistant. Height 45cm.

BLUE WEDGEWOOD
A medium sized hosta with beautiful blue Wedgewood shaped foliage. Flowers are pale lavender. Height 35cm

BRIM CUP
A beautiful hosta with green corrugated and cupped variegated foliage edged with cream. Flowers are mauve. Height 35cm.

CREAM EDGE
Chartreuse yellow leaves with a thin cream edge. Small growing. Mauve flowers. Height 20cm.

A beautiful Hosta with grey green leaves with a wide border of creamy white. Flowers are lavender. Height 30cm.

A sport of Hosta Halcyon with the same blue/green leaves but with a gold/yellow margin which fades to a creamy white through the season. Flowers are lavender. Height 30cm.

FLEMISH SKY
A medium sized Hosta with lovely grey blue pointed leaves. Foliage has wavy margins and the flowers are lavender in colour. Height 35cm.

FRANCEE
A tidy mound of bold green leaves with a narrow white margin. Vigorous grower. Lavender flowers. Height 35cm.

FRANCES WILLIAMS
A large Hosta with blue green foliage with a wide boarder of chartreuse yellow. Lovely puckered texture on the leaves. Height 40cm.

FULL MONTY
Lovely medium sized hosta with blue green foliage and a striking central region of yellow green with white markings. Height 35cm.

Medium to large hosta with beautiful green tear drop shaped leaves with strong veining running down the leaf. Height 45cm.

JUNE Released in 2013
Medium sized hosta with oval to lance shaped leaves, bluish green leaves with a strong yellow splash through the centre of each leaf. Near white flowers. June is a sport of Halcyon. Height 25cm.

KIWI SUNSHINE
A medium growing hosta with light green leaves with a lovely golden hue. Flowers are pale lavender. Height 34cm.

KROSSA REGAL
Blue grey leaves. Upright arching foliage that forms a vase shape. Height 45cm.

lancifolia
Narrow long shiny green leaves. Soft pale lilac flowers on tall stems. Foliage has a light and airy appearance. Height 25cm.

LEMON LIME Released in 2013
Small to medium sized hosta with bright greenish yellow lance shaped leaves. Flowers are lavender. Height 15cm.

MILDRED SEAVER
A medium sized hosta with mid green leaves with a wide creamy white margin. Pest resistant. Height 35cm.

MINI GREEN
Possibly a venusta seedling. Dainty little green leaves on a dwarf plant no more than 12cm high. Mauve flowers. Excellent for edging.

MINUTEMAN
Lovely green foliage with a broad white margin, very similar to Hosta Patriot. Pale lavender flowers. Height 35cm

A large growing Hosta with green leaves with a narrow creamy white border. Height 45cm.

REGAL SPLENDOUR
A grey blue Hosta which is similar in form to Krossa Regal although has a narrow wavy creamy yellow margin. Flowers are soft lavender in colour. Height 40cm.

ROYAL QUILT
A lovely cupped and quilted grey blue foliage Hosta. Good sturdy foliage. Flowers are white. Height 40cm.

SHADE FANFARE
Light green cordate leaves with a creamy yellow margin. Lavender flowers on tall stems. Height 25cm.

SNOW CAP
Blue green leaves with a creamy white margin. Large growing hosta. Height 45cm.

Medium hosta with oval puckered green leaves edged with creamy white. Fragrant white flowers. Height 35cm.

STRIPTEASE
A sport of Gold Standard. Markings are similar to Full Monty having an irregular white stripe between the gold centre and the green margin. Pale lavender flowers. Height 35cm.

SUM AND SUBSTANCE Released in 2013
One of the largest hostas we grow. The substantial greenish to bright yellow leaves can vary in intensity depending on the amount of sun it receives. A superb plant when mature. Flowers are soft mauve. Height 50cm.
