This is the Japanese box hedge that is a very quick grower, about twice as fast as English box. Its foliage has lovely lime green colour tones. Japanese box also has a very shiny leaf. It can be kept clipped into a small hedge for use around formal plantings but is also at home as a border hedge up to 1-2 metres high. Plant at 25 to 30cm spacings.
